For this assignment we were to create a portrait of one of our favorite artists. I chose Juice wrld, I love his music and am devastated about his recent passing. To create this we took an image of the artist and drew lines over it then filled them in. I added a globe to the background and butterflies to create a poster. This assignment focused on line and value, in order to do create the black and white we had to use all of the value scale. We also used lines to create the portrait. I also used contrast and emphasis to create a focal point and interest in the work. Over all this was probably my favorite assignment we did in illustrator. I really enjoyed it.
